Rafiqul made DMD of Bengal Commercial Bank

The Bengal Commercial Bank has recently appointed Md Rafiqul Islam as its new Deputy Managing Director (DMD), says a press release.
Prior to his new assignment, Mr Islam was the SEVP and Chief Techno-logical Officer (CTO) of the bank.
He joined the Bengal Commercial Bank on June 01, 2020. Presently, he is serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in addition to his current assignment.
Mr Islam started off his career at the Standard Chartered Bank through 'Y2K Project' in 1998. Subsequently he served NCC Bank, National Bank, First Security Islami Bank, ICB Islamic Bank and Shahjalal Islami Bank.
He is an IT expert.
