Railway Sporting Club defeated Farashganj Sporting Club by 7-1 goals in a match of the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
Belal Hossain, Shahidul Islam, Taher Ali, Akib Javed, Russell Rana, Abeer Bin Saeed and Russell Hossain scored one goal each for the winners while Krishna Kumar netted the consolation for the losers.
In another match, Police Athletic Club beat Shisukishore Sangha by a solitary goal scored by Rana Das in the 39th minute of the match.
