Railway crush Shantinagar

Riding on a hat-trick by Bellal Hossain, Dhaka Railway Sporting Club trounced Shantinagar Sport Club by 6-0 goals in a match of the Green Delta Insurance Metropolis First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Bellal completed the hattrick scoring three field goals in the 34th, 44th and 64th minutes while Abir Bin Sayed netted two field goals in the 20th and 23rd minutes and Russell Hossain scored the other field goal in the 28th minute for the Dhaka Railway.
In the day's other match, Shishu Kishore Sangha crushed Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha, also by 6-0 goals at the same venue. Nasir Hossain struck twice while Sarwar Morshed Shawon, Khalilur Rahman Hridoy, Prince Lal Samanta and Mehedy Hasan Sabuj netted one goal each for the winners.
Today's match: Bachelors SC vs Farashganj SC (at 3:30 pm).
