Railway services to be improved soon : Minister

Railways Minister M Mujibul Haque said Wednesday that the services of the country's railways sector will be improved further soon, reports UNB.
"The railway services will be improved soon as various projects have been taken for its development, and some of those are under implementation,'' he said.
The minister was talking to reporters after attending a check handover programme by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Railway Bhaban in the city.
Mujibul Haque said development in the railway sector would be visible after implementation of the projects.
He said the ministry's efforts to build new railway tracks and procure coaches would  continue in the future under its ongoing projects.
