Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Severe heat wave may sweep over the districts of Pabna, Jashore, Chuadanga, Bagerhat, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh amd Barishal.
The highest temperature in the country on Saturday was recorded at 41.8 degrees Celsius in Jashore, while the lowest temperature at 20. 7 degrees in Tetulia. The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 38.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 28.7 degrees.
