Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the met Office.
It also may occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Rajshahi, Khulna, Bagerhat and Satkhira.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 37.0 degrees Celsius at Mongla and the minimum was 22.4 degrees Celsius at Bhola.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 25.8 degrees.
