Rain of relief at last

The rain has come to the inhabitants of Dhaka city at last after about one month of balmy, blazing heat. Several areas of the city experienced rain on Saturday afternoon. Dark cloud stared covering the sky of the capital around 1:00pm bringing hope for the exhausted people. A mild storm swept most parts of the mega city before it started raining at about 2:00pm. However, the welcome shower started to subside from 2:45pm and fizzled into intermittent drizzles after 3pm. In the last several days the city dwellers and people across the country have gone through a record level of temperature. The last time the city dwellers experienced a brief rain was on April 26.
