Rain or thunder shower in city likely

Rain or thunder shower accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka today (Monday).
However, rain may also take place at some places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattrogram divisions, according to the Met Office.
It further said day and night temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Maximum temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday while the country's highest temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius in Bogura.
The rate of humidity in Dhaka was recorded at 71 per cent on Sunday evening with the Met Office reporting no mentionable rainfall until 6:0pm on the day.
The country's highest rainfall was recorded at 111 millimetres in Feni until 6:0pm Sunday, according to the Met Office.
The sun sets in Dhaka at 5:29 pm today (Monday) and will rise at 05:58 am tomorrow (Tuesday).
