Rain with gusty wind likely

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka division today (Thursday), according to a weather forecast.
Moderately heavy to heavy rainfalls may also take place at different places over the country, including Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, the Met Office said on Wednesday.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka on Wednesday was 30.7 degrees Celsius, down from the previous day's maximum temperature of 32 degrees.
The rate of humidity (RH), on the other hand, remained almost unchanged at 86 per cent on Wednesday.
The country's highest temperature of 33 degrees Celsius was recorded in Chuadanga and the minimum temperature of 24 degrees in Tentulia and Rajarhat on the day.
The Met office recorded 5.0mm of rainfalls in Dhaka until 6:00pm on Wednesday.
And the country's highest rainfall of 220mm was recorded in Tentulia during the period.
The sun sets in Dhaka at 05:52pm today (Thursday) and will rise at 5:48am tomorrow (Friday).
