Raipura- Madanganj road link work inaugurated

NARSINGDI, Dec 10: The foundation stone of 19 kilometre long Raipura-Narsingdi direct road part of Raipura-Narsingdi-Madanganj road was formally laid by the Post and Tele Communication Minister Raziuddin Ahmed Raju Friday.
Presided over by Raipura Upazila Awami League President Afzal Hossain the inaugural function was attended by Executive Engineer of Roads and Highways Narsingdi Zakir Hossain, district AL President Advocate Asaduzzaman, Secretary Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Narsingdi Poura Mayor Lokman Hossain, Govt. officials and elites.
Roads and Highways Department will implement the project by 2013 at an estimated cost of Tk 0.84 billion financed by govt.of Bangladseh own fund connecting Dhaka-Sylhet highway from Madangonj via one of the largest Upazila Raipura.
