Rajan murder suspect held in Jeddah

Another accused in the Sheikh Samiul Alam Rajon killing case has been held in Jeddah of Saudi Arabia on Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Quamrul Islam, 24, brother of the main accused, Muhit Alam who was arrested earlier.
Sylhet Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Rahmat Ullah said Bangladeshi expatriates caught Quamrul around 8pm and handed him over to Saudi police.
He said steps will be taken to bring him back as soon as possible, a news agency report said.
Assistant Inspector General (Media) at Police Headquarters Nazrul Islam also confirmed the arrest.
Quamrul, who is a Saudi expatriate, fled Bangladesh after murdering 13-year-old Rajon over a theft at Sundar Ali Market in Kumargaon area of the city on July 8.
He died of brain haemorrhage following the torture, said the autopsy report on Monday.
With this, a total of four people have so far been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder.
