Rajhshahi road crash leaves 1 dead

A minor boy has been killed when a tractor knocked down him in Kristaganj area under Boalia thana in Rajshahi city. The deceased was identified as Hasan Ali, 10, son of Abdur Rahsid of Kechua Tala in the city. Uttam Kumar, sub-inspector at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) police camp, said the accident took place in the area on Thursday night when a sugarcane-laden tractor hit Hasan when he tried to pick up a sugarcane from the vehicle, leaving him critically injured. Later he was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, according to UNB.
