SYLHET, July 13 (UNB): Sheikh Samiul Alam Rajon, the 13-year-old boy who was brutally tortured at Sundar Ali Market in Kumargaon area of Sylhet city on Wednesday, died of brain hemorrhage, said the autopsy report on Monday.

Rajon's body bore 68 injury marks, said the OC quoting Dr Farhana Islam.
Earlier, a court here on Monday placed Muhit, the prime accused in the murder case, on a five-day remand.
Judge Farhana Yasmin of the Judicial Magistrate Court-2 passed the order after police had produced Muhit before his court seeking a seven-day remand.
The local people gave a 12-hour ultimatum to arrest the killers following a meeting of residents of 22 villages at Rajon's house on Sunday night.
They also threatened a mass movement, if the administration fails to arrest Rajon's killers.
OC Akter Hossain also visited the meeting place at night and said police were doing everything they could to arrest the murderers.
The police arrested Ismail Hossain Abul, 32, cousin of prime accused Muhit Alam, from Lamakaji Mirergaon area under Jalalabad police station in the city early Monday in connection with the gruesome murder.
On July 8 last Rajon, son of Sheikh Azizur Rahman of Badeali village in Sylhet Sadar upazila, was tortured to death by a mob over a theft at the Sundar Ali Market in Kumargaon area of the city.
The killers themselves took the video footage of the incident and uploaded it on the Internet. The video clip went viral on the social networking site Facebook and the video-sharing site Youtube which caused an outcry.
The video showed that the killers beat the teenager on his legs with a rod asking him ridiculously whether he was happy. As the boy prayed for mercy saying he was happy, the attackers said if he was happy at one strike, then the happiness would double if he was beaten more.
The video footage of the teenage boy being brutally tortured to death triggered an outcry across the country.
Local people caught Muhit, 26, while taking the body to another place for dumping, and handed him over to police.
State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan on Monday said those involved in the brutal murder of the teenage boy would not be spared.
"The killers will be brought to book and stern action will be taken against them," he said while talking to reporters at his office on Monday.
