Rajshahi BCL city unit selects leaders

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, June 6: Mr Kamruzzaman Shafiq and Mr Mir Touhidur Rahman Kitu have been selected president and general secretary respectively of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Rajshahi city unit.
According to sources, the Rajshahi city unit BCL committee was formed at a conference Saturday for the next one year.
Rajshahi City Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton was present at the conference as the chief guest while Awami League Organising Secretary Al Mahmud Al Swapon MP, former RUCSU vice president and director of Barind Multipurpose Development Project Nurul Islam Thandu were the special guests.
BCL President Mahmud Hasan Ripon inaugurated the conference while General Secretary Mahfujul Haider Chowdhury Roton was the key speaker.
