Rajshahi crushes Kishoregang 19-0 in hockey

Rajshahi DSA recorded a massive 19-0 victory over Kishoreganj DSA in the 27th National Hockey at the Moulana Bhasani National Stadium Tuesday, reports UNB.
Remon and Shisu made hattricks scoring five and four goals respectively, Sabbir Rana, Faruk, Rajon and Krishna struck two each while Panna and Issa netted one each for the winners which dominated the first half by 7-0 goals in the morning.
It was the second consecutive victory in the group for Rajshahi DSA, which will play Tangail DSA tomorrow (Wednesday) to decide the champions of Group E.
In the day's another match, Tangail DSA also registered their second victory in the group outplaying all losers Comilla DSA by 5-0 goals after leading the first half by 3-0 goals at the same venue in the afternoon.
Ariful Haque Prince struck two, Rahul Kanti Roy, Zahidul Islam and Ashiquzzaman netted one each for Tangail DSA.
The day's other match between Bangladesh Navy and Faridpur DSA ended in a one-all draw at the same venue in the afternoon.
Musa Miah put Faridpur DSA ahead in the 24th minute from a field goal while substitute Lokman restored the parity in the 59th minute, also from a field goal.
On Monday, Mymensingh DSA emerged group champions with an all-win record to reach the five-team super league of the 27th National Hockey Championship eliminating Bangladesh Air Force by 2-0 goals at the Moulana Bhasani National Stadium.
