Rajshahi division transport strike postponed

RAJSHAHI: The transport strike, enforced by Rajshahi Division Bus-Truck Federation in the division was postponed for 10 days till June 7 following a government assurance to fulfil their six-point demand.
The decision came at a meeting held at Bogra Motor Sramik Union Office Tuesday night.
Akhtaruzzaman Deuk, president of Bogra district Motor Vehicle Owners Group, told reporters that they decided to withdraw the strike after the government assured them of fulfilling demands, according to a news agency.
