Rajshahi Division maintain their impressive form as they strolled to a cakewalk eight wicket win over Barisal Division in the 3rd Women's National Cricket League at Khulna University ground Wednesday , reports BSS.
In the day's other match, Dhaka Division did not have to sweat as they coasted to a seven wicket win over Sylhet Division at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium (SANS) in Khulna.
Barisal Division asked to bat first were bundled out for a paltry 59 runs in 35.2 overs.
Sathira Zakir and Farzana Haque grabbed three wickets each for four and six runs respectively.
In reply, Rajshahi Division strolled to their target notching 62 runs in 10.2 overs for the loss of two wickets with opener Sathira Zakir contributing 18 runs and one down Panna Ghosh 15 runs.
At the SANS in Khulna, Sylhet Division elected to bat first and were bowled out for 116 in 49.5 overs.
Subarna was the leading scorer with 26 runs with Montaha chipping in 17 runs.
Dhaka division in reply hardly had any hiccup as they scored 119 in 38.5 overs for the loss of four wickets.
Shamima Akhter with 23 runs and Chameli Rani and Papiya Haque with 21 each were the notable run getters for Dhaka.
Subarna and Supriya Rani took one wicket apiece for Sylhet.
