Rajshahi people ready to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr

Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), district administration and all others concerned have chalked out elaborate programmes to celebrate the Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of Muslims, in Rajshahi city and the district with due fervor, joy and enthusiasm. The main Eid jamat will be held on Shahmukhdum Central Eidgah Moidan at 8.30am on the Eid day. Muhtamim of Jameya Islamia Shahmukhdum Maulana Shahadat Ali will conduct the prayer. The second and third largest jamat will be held at Shaheb Bazar Zero point and Tikapara Eidgah Moidan respectively at the same time. Some other main Eid jamats will be held on Rajshahi Court Eidgah, Rajshahi Stadium, Shalbagan Eidgah, Rajshahi University, New Market Jame Mosque, Police Line Math, Upashahar Eidgah Moidan and Rajarhata Jame Mosque. Over 150 Eid-ul-Fitr jamats are scheduled to be held at the traditional and temporary venues in the Rajshahi metropolis under the supervision of the respective Eid jamat committee, according to BSS.
