Holders Rajshahi Division scored 198 for 3 in 69 overs in the first innings to take a 14-run lead against Chittagong Division on the second day of the four-day 2nd round match of the National Cricket League at BKSP in Savar Thursday, reports UNB.
Earlier, Chittagong Division resumed the first innings with 128 for 5 and were dismissed for 184 runs in 63 overs with night-watch batsman Aftab Ahmed (34) contributing 42 runs off 101 balls, featuring eight fours.
Saqlain Sajib did the major damage in the Chittagong innings grabbing five wickets for 33 runs, while Mohammad Shahazada three wickets for 52 runs and Farhad Reza two wickets for 37 runs.
In reply, Rajshahi Division scored 198 for 3 in 69 overs when bails were drawn for the 2nd day with Farhad Hossain is in batting with 94 runs off 179 deliveries, including 11 boundaries.s
