Rajshahi tops success rate

Rajshahi Education Board has topped the success rate in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. The result shows the pass rate in the board is 96.34 per cent. The success rate in Dhaka board is 93.94 per cent, in Comilla 89.92 pc, in Jessore 92.19 pc, Chittagong 91.40 pc, Barisal 90.66 pc, Sylhet 89.23 pc and Dinajpur 93.26 pc. Besides, 89.25 pc of examinees passed the tests from Madrasa Board and 81.97 pc of candidates cleared the tests from Vocational Board. This year, 91.34 pc of students cleared the tests and 142, 276 got GPA-5. A total of 1,303,331 out of 1,432,727 appearing for the exams cleared the tests and 5,092 institutions notched a total success rate with 100 pc students getting through.
