Rajuk allots 3,116 more plots of Uttara, Purbachal projects

The capital development authority Wednesday allotted 3,116 more plots of its two ongoing housing projects through both lottery and selection as per pay scale and age.
The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) allotted 2,762 plots of the Purbachal New Town Project and 354 plots of the Uttara Model Town Project (Third phase) on the day.
The lottery draw was held in the conference room of the Housing and Public Works Ministry, where the names of the applicants selected were also announced.
The plots for selected applicants were allotted in a number of categories--minister, deputy minister, state minister, lawmaker and adviser, civil servants, service holders of autonomous organisations, and personnel of the armed forces.
On other hand, the lottery draw was held in two categories-other retired and remaining officers of the government and autonomous institutions.
