RAJUK gets new chairman

The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), the capital development authority, has appointed a new chairman, reports bdnews24.com.
Abdur Rahman, who has served RAJUK as a member so far, has been promoted to the post of chairman, the Ministry of Public Administration said in a notice on Thursday.
Outgoing chairman M Bazlul Karim Chaudhury had been transferred to the cabinet division, Rahman told the news agency. Both Rahman and Chaudhury are additional secretaries.
Rahman joined the public administration ministry as a deputy secretary in 2006.
He later went on to serve the National Sports Council, Ministry of Youth and Sports and Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) later in his career.
