Rajuk retains top position, Viqarunnisa 2nd in Dhaka Board

Rajuk Uttara Model School and College retained the top position in Dhaka Board in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination this year attaining 95.66 point under the ranking system introduced last year, reports BSS. Rajuk was followed by Viqarunnisa Noon School clinching the second position with 94.93 points while Ideal School and College of Motijheel secured the third position with 94.66 points and Dhaka Residential Model School and College secured the fourth position with 92.33 points. Though the one of the best girls schools of the country Viqarunnisa Noon got the second, it grasped the highest number 1,074 of GPA 5 out of its 1,227 examinees, while Mymensingh Girls' Cadet College managed to clinch GPA 5 for its all 49 examinees securing 8th position in the ranking with 90 points. Rajuk Uttara Model School and College clinched 379 GPA 5 out of its 393 examinees, while Ideal School and College of Motijheel grabbed 778 GPA-5 out of 938 examinees and Dhaka Residential Model College 332 GPA-5 out of 383 examinees.
