RAK Paints warehouse catches fire in city

A fire broke out at the warehouse of the paint manufacturer, RAK Paints, on Jasimuddin Road at Uttara in the city on Monday morning. Fire service sources said the fire broke out from an unknown origin at the warehouse of RAK Paints (Pvt.) Ltd. close to Aarong’s showroom in Sector-3 around 11:40 am. On information, four fire fighting units from Baridhara and Tongi fire stations rushed in and were trying to control the blaze as of filing this report at 1:25pm. Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Uttara West Police Station, confirmed the incident, according to UNB.
