Rakib murder case charge-sheet Tuesday

Police on Tuesday will place the charge-sheet of the case filed over the gruesome murder of teenage boy Rakibul Islam Rakib in Tutpara Central Road area of the city on August 3, 2015.
KMP Sub-Inspector Mushtak Ahmed, also the investigation officer of the case, will submit the charge-sheet with Khulna Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Khulna Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sukumar Biswas confirmed to the news agency Monday.
"Before submitting the charge-sheet, a press briefing will be held at the KMP headquarters tomorrow (Tuesday) morning", OC said.
IO Mushtak said all preparation has been completed to press charge sheet to the court.
A total of 40 people witnessed torture on Rakib. Of them, three have recorded statement as prosecution witnesses at the trial of the case, he said.
He also said all the three accused into Rakib murder case made their 'confessional' statement separately before the court under section 164 BPC.
The persons who made the 'confessional' statement are prime accused Sharif, owner of motorcycle garage, employee of the garage Mintu and Sharif's mother Beauty Begum.
On August 3, a 12-year old boy Rakib, son of Nur Alam Howlader of Tutpara Central Road area was tortured to death over quitting job from Sharif garage near Tutpara graveyard area in the city.
Rakib's father Nur Alam Howlader filed a case with Khulna Kotwali Police Station against Sharif, Mintu and Beauty Begum.
The court placed them on remand and they confessed their crime to the magistrate Faruk Iqbal of Khulna Metropolitn Magistrate court.
After completing their remand police sent them to Khulna court.
