Rakib's century goes in vain

Eskaton Sabuj Sangha coasted to a comfortable four-wicket win over Rupali Bank SC in a match of the First Division Cricket League at Jahangirnagar University ground in Savar Monday, reports BSS.
Batting first, Rupali Bank SC scored 208 for 6 in stipulated 50 overs.
Rakib Ahmed was the main architect for Rupali Bank with a dazzling undefeated 107 off 126 balls studded with four boundaries and seven towering sixes.
But Rakib's ton went in vain as in reply, Eskaton Sabuj Sangha reached their target scoring 210 runs for six wickets in 48.4 overs with Mustafizur Rahman topping 52 runs.
In the day’s other matches, Motijheel T&T Club (180/5 in 43.4 overs) beat Lalmatia Club (178/10 in 48.1ov) by 5 wickets at Dhaka University ground while Prime Doleshwar SC (171/3 in 32ov) beat Azad SC (170/10 in 39ov) by 7 wickets at the City Club ground.
