Rakub men urged to work with devotion, honesty

RANGPUR, Oct 18 (BSS): All executives of Rakub have been urged to work with utmost devotion and honesty to turn the bank into a model one for the farmers.
Chairman of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (Rakub) Professor Dr Shah Nawaz Ali made the appeal while inaugurating the operation of Rakub's Nurul Huda Branch at its new location near Bir Uttam Shaheed Mahbub Cantonment at Kholahati under Parbotipur Upazila of Dinajpur today.
Managing Director of the bank Manjur Ahmed, District and Sessions Judge of Narayanganj Lutfa Begum, Parbotipur Upazila Chairman Aminul Islam, Polashbari Union Parishad Chairman Mofakhkharul Islam Faruk and Dr Mahmudul Karim spoke on the occasion.
Deputy Managing Director of the bank Dr Nazmul Bari, its Dinajpur South Zonal Manager Birendranath Roy, former Principal of Parbotipur Degree College Nurul Amin Sarker and Principal of Kholahati Degree College Abu Bakar Siddik also spoke.
Deputy General Manager of Rakub's Rangpur Divisional Office Mahbubul Alam presided over the function.
The chairman of the bank also urged the officials to render services to the farmers, clients, businessmen, entrepreneurs and professionals without any hassle.
He said the agriculture sector of the country has achieved tremendous success during the past five and a half years and its further development would improve condition of the farmers making the national economy stronger to turn Bangladesh into a middle income country soon.
