Rally on World Health Day held in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, Apr 8: A rally and discussion meeting was held arranged by the civil surgeon's office and Shelter Social Welfare Organisation (SSWO) Monday morning in Jhenidah.
With the slogan, "Keep Mosquitoes and Flies away: Be Free from Diseases'', the rally was brought out from Sheba Institute at 9:00 am, led by civil surgeon Dr. Nasrin Sultana.
When the rally reached the institute after moving around the Hamdah monument of the town, it was followed by a discussion meet.
The rally was attended, among others, by Sadar UHFPO Dr. Rasheda Sultana, Senior Health Education Officer Dr. Abdur Rahman (in-charge), SSWO AD Sabera Khatun, project co-ordinator Arif Hossain, Khuku Rani Mujumder and Polash Saha.
The discussion session was presided over by heart specialist Dr. AKM Kamal Hossain.
Representatives of various NGOs, journalists and members of civil society also took part in the programme.
