Rampura OC, Inspector closed

The officer-in-charge (OC) of Rampura Police station in the city Kripa Krishna Bala and its Inspector (Investigation) Nasim Ahmed were withdrawn on Tuesday. Sources at the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Headquarters said the two top police officers have been closed to the DMP central reserve office for administrative reason. Inspector (Investigation) Alamgir Bhuiyan of Chawkbazar Police Station has been transferred to Rampura. It was learnt that the action was taken against the duo on charge of concealing information about gold bars seized along with a microbus recently, according to UNB.
