Rangpur defeat Khulna by five wickets in NCL

Opener Robiul Islam Robi and skipper Tariq Ahmed's half centuries steered Rangpur Division to a five-wicket victory over Khulna Division on the third day of the fifth round of Walton 13th National Cricket League at Sylhet Stadium Wednesday, reports UNB.
Chasing the winning target of 223, Rangpur Division resumed their second innings on the third day with their over night total of 13 for no loss and reached their target of 223 in 59.3 overs for the loss of five wickets.
In the day's another match, riding on unbeaten ton by Mohammad Ashraful Dhaka Metro is in driving seat taking an overall 364 runs lead over Chittagong Division at Sylhet Divisional Stadium.
At the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra, Rajshahi Division is on the bank of victory in chasing the winning target of 224 runs set by Sylhet Division.
Rajshahi Division is now needed just 57 runs to win the match with five wickets in hand with their second innings total of 168 for 5 in 45 overs at stumps on the third day.
At Abdur Rab Serniabat Stadium in Barisal, host Barisal Division set 263 runs winning target for Dhaka Division.
Chasing the target, Dhaka Division started their second innings on the third day and scored 55 for 2 at stumps on the day.
