Rangpur Div earn 314-run victory over Sylhet Div

Rangpur Division notched a huge 314-run victory over Sylhet Division on the 4th and final day of the Walton 15th National Cricket League at Fatullah Outer Stadium Tuesday, reports UNB.
In the day's other matches, Dhaka Division defeated Barisal Division by eight wickets at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong while Khulna Division beat Dhaka Metropolis team by five wickets at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar.
Earlier, Rajshahi Division outplayed Chittagong Division by a massive 403 runs on the 3rd day of the four-day affairs at the BKSP ground-3 in Savar Monday.
In Fatullah, Sylhet Division (first innings total 143 runs), which resumed their 2nd innings with overnight 58 for 4 Tuesday, were all out for 162 in 46.3 overs to concede the huge defeat against Rangpur Division.
Saker Ahmed scored the team highest 31 runs while Rajin Saleh made 23 and Nasum Ahmed not out 20 runs for Sylhet Division.
Sajedul Islam claimed four wickets for 46 runs while Mahmudul Hasan grabbed three wickets for 35 runs.
Naeem Islam of Rangpur Division, who scored 144 runs in the 1st innings and 23 runs in the 2nd innings, was adjudged man of the match.

Barisal Division resumed the 2nd innings with overnight 221 for 8 and were dismissed for 229 runs in 64.4 overs, adding only 8 runs on the final day (Tuesday).
Chasing 110 runs for win, Dhaka Division opened the 2nd innings and easily reached their target making 112 runs for 2 in 23.3 overs.
Taiabur Parvez, who hit 102 runs in the first innings and 31 runs in the 2nd innings, was named the man of the match.
