Rangpur Div earn 6-wkt win over Dhaka Metro

Rangpur Division won by six wickets against Dhaka Metro on the final day of a four-day match of the Walton 15th National Cricket League at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra Sunday, reports UNB.
Rangpur Division (240 in 1st innings), resuming the 2nd innings with overnight 113 runs for 3 in 50 overs, scored 187 for 4 in 73.5 overs.
Chasing 68 runs on the final day, Rangpur Division scored 74 runs losing one wicket in 23.5 overs with night watch batsman Mahmudul Hasan (27) scoring 53 runs off 155 balls that featured eight boundaries.
Another night watch batsman Saymon Ahmed (11) contributed not out 52 runs of 100 balls with 10 fours.
Mehrab Hossain Jr claimed the day's only wicket of Mahmudul Hasan for 10 runs in 1.5 overs.
Sajedul Islam of Rangpur Division, who claimed 5 wickets for 24 runs in 7 overs and also contributed 16 runs for his side in the first innings, and took 2 wickets for 44 runs in the 2nd innings, was adjudged man of the match.
Saymon Ahmed and Ariful Haque remained not out on 52 and 6 runs respectively.
