Rangpur gets new officials

The government has confirmed appointment of a divisional commissioner and two additional divisional commissioners in Rangpur division, reports bdnews24.com.
The Establishment Ministry sent a letter in this regard to the authorities concerned Monday.
The letter said a total of 126 officials were appointed for Rangpur divisional administration.
Eight cars, two motor cycles, 107 machinery and equipment were also allotted for the division's administration.
Meanwhile, the Establishment Ministry also extended the term of the deputy director of relief and rehabilitation directorate by two years.
Through an order on Sunday, the ministry extended the term on ad-hoc basis.
The government also gave three-year extension to a retired army major general Manjur Ahmed, who is serving as the director general of the National Security Intelligence.
