Rangpur reach final

Rangpur DSA moved into the final of the 29th National (Inter-District) Cricket Championship eliminating Dinajpur DSA by eight wickets in a one-sided 2nd semifinal at Shams-ul-Huda Stadium in Jessore Tuesday, reports UNB.
Rangpur will meet Khulna DSA in the final tomorrow (Thursday).
In the day's match, Dinajpur DSA batted first after winning the toss and were all out for 202 in 49.4 overs with Faisal Bin Mushtaque scoring 53 runs and Bappy Das making 43.
Abdur Rahman Rony captured three wickets for 16 runs while Monirul Islam and Alauddin Babu grabbed two wickets each for 44 and 45 runs respectively.
In reply, Rangpur DSA easily reached their target scoring 206 runs for in 33.2 overs for the loss of two wickets.
Opener Ashraful Islam, who hammered not out 89 runs off 90 balls with 11 fours and three sixes, was adjudged man of the match. Two-down Alauddin Babu scored not out 50 runs off 49 balls with six fours and a six.
Minahaz Reza and Faisal Bin Mustaque took one wicket each for 40 and 44 runs respectively.
