Rangpur tobacco farmers form human chain for agri-loan

Rangpur tobacco farmers and businessmen formed a human chain to press home their five-point demand, including arrangement of agri-loan, in front of Rangpur Tax Commissioner Office on Monday, says a press release.
After the programme, they submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of National Board of Revenue through the Rangpur Tax Commissioner.
Rangpur Tobacco Farmers and Business Samity leader Jamil Akter presided over the programme, while Bangladesh Bidi Workers Federation Acting President Amin Uddin, among others, spoke on the occasion.
