Rangpur training centre for distressed to open on Mar 16

A modern training centre named 'Rokeya Smriti Kendro' has been established in Rangpur district town to train the distressed people for meeting the country's shortage of skilled labour, reports UNB.
Army Chief General Moyeen U Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the training centre on March 16.
The centre has been constructed with the financial support of BKMEA. Bangladesh Army 72 Infantry Division and Rangpur Joint Forces have extended all out cooperation to the BKMEA in implementing the project.
The centre will impart training to 100 people every two months and provide them with job opportunities.
Meanwhile, the centre has already selected 80 women and 20 men for its first training course, said a press release.
