Ranjan Ram clinches both men's singles, doubles crowns

Ranjan Ram of National Tennis Complex (NTC) emerged men's singles champion in the Victory Day Tennis Competition beating Amal Roy of Engineers’ Club 7-5, 6-3 in the final at the National Tennis Court Complex in the city Sunday, reports UNB.
Ranjan Ram (NTC) pairing with Amal Roy (Engineers’ Club) also clinched the men's doubles crown beating Dipu Lal and Alamgir Hossain pair of Nordic Club 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 in the final at the same venue.
In the women's singles final, Dipa Islam of NTC emerged champion beating compatriot Sathi Sarkar 6-3, 2-6, 6-1.
In the women's doubles, Sathi Sarkar and Sharmin Alam Sarda pair of NTC emerged champions of the event beating team mates Dipa Islam and Barsha Islam 6-2, 6-0 in the final.
State Minister for Science and ICT Yafes Osman was the chief guest of the final and distributed the prizes.
