\\\'Ranon\\\' launches spelling correction campaign

RANGPUR, Feb 9 (BSS): Organisers and activists of 'Ranon', a cultural organisation of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR), has launched its Bengali spelling correction campaign in this month of language movement from Sunday.
They conducted Bengali spelling correction activities through delivering slips with correct Bengali word spelling to owners of different shops having digital banners and sine-boards at Parker Mour area near BRUR campus on first day of the campaign.
Activists of the cultural organisation also corrected wrong spelling of different Bengali words with handwritings in the other shops there having non-digital banners and sine-boards prepared with manually written scripts on the first day.
While leading the campaign on the first day, President of 'Ranon' and Assistant Professor of the Department of Bengali of BRUR Dr Tuhin Wadud narrated the shop owners and common people on importance of correct Bengali word spelling.
