Rapport Bangladesh Limited organised a function to award Seventh Rapport Award for Excellence in Human Resource Development-2007 in the city recently.
Chairman of the Transparency International Bangladesh Prof. Dr Muzaffer Ahmad was present at the function as the chief guest, said a press release.
Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission Dr Sa-adat Husain and former adviser to the caretaker government Dr Akbar Ali Khan were present at the function as special guests.
Vice Chancellor of the North South University Prof. Dr Hafiz GA Siddiqi presided over the function.
The recipients of the award are: Former chairman of the Bangladesh Food and Sugar Corporation Mohammad Delwar Hossain, Managing Director of the Pragati Insurance Limited AKM Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Green Delta Insurance Company Limited Nasiruddin Ahmad Choudhury, former adviser of the caretaker government Dr Akbar Ali Khan, Secretary of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) M Fasihur Rahman, General Manager (HR and Administration) of the Warid Telecom International Mumtaz Ahmad Khan, former additional chief engineer of the PWD Engr Emdadul Huq, Managing Director of the Prime Bank Limited Shahjahan Bhuiyan, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Dr Syed Naquib Muslim and Military Secretary to the President Major Gen Mohd Aminul Karim.
