Rare species of Langur electrocuted in Moulvibazar

A rare species of langur died from electrocution in Moulvibazar town on Tuesday evening. Locals said some people saw the langur on M Saifur Rahman Road in the district town and chased it off. At one stage, the langur came in contact with a live electric wire beside the road while trying to run away and died on the spot. On information, officials from Moulvibazar Veterinary Hospital recovered the dead animal, according to UNB.
