Ras Festival at Habiganj held

Our Correspondent HABIGANJ, Nov 12: The 120th Ras Festival of Monipuri tribals was celebrated at Habiganj Friday. Social Welfare Minister Enamul Haque Mustafa Shahid was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Monipuri tribals of Choysree village under Chunarughat celebrated the festival thorough various cultural functions. The chief guest said that the government is patronizing all religious and cultural groups to promote their dignity. All initiatives have been taken by the government for the development of Monipuri tribals, he added. Among others police super Md. Kamrul Amin and ADM Dilip Kumar Banik were present as special guests.
