Ratna finishes 38th in World Shooting Championship

Famed Bangladeshi shooter Sharmin Akhter Ratna finished 38th among the 135 shooters in the Women's 10-meter Air Rifles Shooting of the 50th ISSF World Championship in Munich Sunday, reports UNB.
Ratna, who clinched gold medal in both the individual and team event of the 50-meter Air Rifles in this year's 11th SA Games in Dhaka, scored 394 points in her favorite event.
Bangladeshi shooter Sabrina Sultana finished 97th while Sharmin Akhter was placed 99th in the event, both scoring 389 points.
Earlier, on Saturday, Bangladeshi shooter Abdullah Hel Baki, Asif Hossain Khan and Toufique Shahriar Chandan finished 32nd, 48th and 108th respectively in the Men's 10-meter Air Rifles Shooting.
