Rawhide trader shot dead in city

A rawhide trader was shot dead by some miscreants at Hazaribagh area in the capital on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Afzal Hossain Sattar( 42), son of late Hazi Abdul Aziz, a resident of Moneswar road of Hazaribagh area. Afzal, also a former Jubo Dal President of 48 no ward, was released from jail on bail six months back. A gang of 4-5 miscreants opened fire on Afzal in front of his house around 1:45 pm, leaving him critically injured, said his brother Raisul Islam Motaleb.Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead. — UNB
