Razi Uddin for technology-based postal service to fulfill peoples' expectations

Post and Telecommuni-cations Minister Razi Uddin Ahmed Razu Sunday said, the activities of postal department should be made technology-based and time befitting in order to fulfill the expectations of the people, reports BSS.
He asked the concerned for working with much sincerity and dignity for making the postal service more attractive through an innovative manner.
The Minister was addressing as the chief guest at a function organised at GPO auditorium in the city on the occasion of expansion of Guaranteed Express Post (GEP) service at 257 destinations.
The technological facilities should not only be limited within towns, the Minister said adding that the programmes for changes of the present government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have started targeting to reach technological facilities to the people at rural areas.
