Razzaque for pragmatic projects to ensure food, nutrition security

Agriculture Minister Md Abdur Razzak said Covid-19 has already caused food shortages in many parts of the world but under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has continued the trend of food production coping with the pandemic, cyclone Ampan and a prolonged flood, reports BSS.
"Timely and pragmatic projects need to be adopted in agriculture sector to continue and accelerate the production in the upcoming days to ensure food and nutrition security," he said while reviewing the progress of project implementation under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) through a virtual meeting from the ministry conference room on Sunday, said a press release.
