RCC to construct city health clinic

RAJSHAHI, Nov 15 (BSS): Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) is going to construct an eight-storied city health clinic and seven multistoried commercial buildings with estimated cost of Taka 0.6385b in public private partnership system. To this end, the RCC has signed agreement with different contractors at its city bhaban office in Rajshahi on Monday. City Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, who was present on the occasion, termed the contract as another progress of the present council. Considering the long-cherished demands of the city dwellers he said the buildings are going to be constructed. Besides, he said construction works of the City centre, Daruchini Plaza and Swapnachura Plaza are progressing fast. On completion of those, city's beauty will be enhanced more, he hoped. In this regard, he asked the organisations concerned to start and finish the construction works of the new buildings. Liton told the meeting that multistoried staff quarters would be constructed at Seroil, Luxmipur, Talaimari, Court Bazar and Shalbagan markets very soon.
