Rebeka Mohiuddin passes away

Rebeka Mohiudddin, wife of former president of Awami League, died of brain stroke at a city hospital on Monday morning, says a press release
She was 78.
A progressive political leader, Rebeka, was born in an aristocratic family in Faridpur district on April 10, 1939.
She was the daughter of philanthropist Azizur Rahman.
She left behind two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
As a close associate of poet Sufia Kamal in the sixties, she was one of the founder members of Bangladesh Mohila Parishad.
