Rebel BCL men cripples IU

Disgruntled Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists of Islamic University (IU) paralysed the campus Sunday demanding release of seven fellows.
They took the keys of the cars of Vice-chancellor Prof Mohammed Alauddin and Pro-vice chancellor prof Kamal Uddin and buses carrying students to the campus, forcing suspension of university operations, reports bdnews24.com.
IU police Chief Md Mizanur Rahman said that the BCL activists tried to put barricade on the Kushtia-Khulna highway adjoining Madhupur Bazar but failed at the police intervention.
