Rebirth from death
Sunday, 3 May 2015
The news on an amazing and fiction-like fact about a coloured American was published in a local daily. It went on to demonstrate that in many states in the USA like Alabama, where this event took place, the impact of colour bar is still present. A man spent thirty long years of his life in the condemned cell of a prison awaiting his execution.
Since official miscarriage of justice ruined a man's normal life, he deserves the maximum possible compensation for the loss of his normal life and reputation unjustly. The mental torture of a person who was awaiting execution for thirty years, can be imagined than described. His defence attorney admitted that he was falsely sentenced to death, and stated as follows: "Race, poverty, inadequate legal assistance and prosecution indifference, here conspired to create a textbook example of injustice"!
Does colour is still a bar in the USA?
