Reception to distinguished personalities

CHITTAGONG, Oct 19 (UNB): Mirsarai Students' Association of Chittagong University has accorded a reception to five distinguished personalities of the upazila in recognition of their contribution in their respective fields.
They are-- Nurul Anwar, founder Chairman of CU's Microbiology Department, MM Emran Chowdhury, DMD of Modhumati Model Town, Dhaka, Moulana Bodiul Alam, former Secretary and founder of IIUC, Anis Alamgir, head of news of Boishakhi Television, and Abu Saleh M Shahabuddin, Assistant Director of Bangladesh Bank and guest lecturer of IIUC and USTC. The programme was held at TTDC Hall in Mirsarai Monday.
Former Secretary AFM Sarwar Kamal attended the programme as chief guest while former DG of Health Department M Nurun Nabi presented a paper on development of Mirsarai.
Abdul Mannan Chowdhury of CU's Economics Depart-ment, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rokon-ud-Doula, UNB news editor Mahfuzur Rahman, among others, attended the programme.
